Poland
The European Base
Poland is the foundation of Omenaa’s professional, business and philanthropic activity. It is where she built her media career and established key organisations including Omenaa Foundation, OmenaArt Foundation, Rafał Brzoska Foundation, the Philanthropic Consortium and TOP CHARITY. Poland is also home to the annual TOP CHARITY Gala, Omenaa’s flagship philanthropic platform bringing together business leaders, private capital, art and social impact at scale.
Ghana/ Africa
Identity & Social Impact
Ghana is deeply connected to Omenaa’s heritage and long-term social mission. Her work there combines education, care, sport, art and community development through initiatives including Kids’ Haven School and the Omenaa Sport & Art Campus. Africa also plays a central role in her work around cultural identity, African creativity and new models of Africa-Europe cooperation.
Italy
Art, Heritage & International Expansion
Italy is becoming an important cultural hub within the OmenaArt Foundation ecosystem, connecting contemporary art, historic architecture, exhibitions, residencies and international cultural dialogue. It is also the setting for the first international edition of TOP CHARITY Gala, marking a significant step in the platform’s expansion beyond Poland and strengthening Omenaa’s global presence through art, philanthropy and cultural diplomacy.

The United States represents the next stage of Omenaa’s international growth, focused on building relationships across philanthropy, business, institutions and academia. The aim is to connect her European-African ecosystem with global partners, private capital and new networks of influence.

Art & Cultural Diplomacy
For Omenaa Mensah, art is more than an object of admiration. As a collector, patron and cultural entrepreneur, she sees art as a powerful language of identity, cultural diplomacy and international dialogue. Through collecting, patronage, curatorial projects and institutional partnerships, she connects African artistic perspectives with European audiences, collectors and leading cultural institutions.
Omenaa plays an active role in the international contemporary art world as the first Polish member of the Africa Acquisitions Committee at Tate Modern and a Development Committee Member at MICAS – Malta International Contemporary Arts Space. She also supports greater representation of African artists as a juror for the Kuenyehia Trust for Contemporary Art Prize and the Yaa Asantewaa Prize, helping create pathways to funding, institutional recognition and international visibility.
Through OmenaArt Foundation, she combines contemporary art with cultural regeneration, restoring historic architecture and transforming it into living platforms for art, education and international dialogue. Her philosophy is based on recovering places and reimagining their purpose, connecting memory with the future and heritage with new generations. Projects including Lugisland Land of Art, Torre San Marco and Villa Ruhland bring together art, architecture, residencies, exhibitions and community engagement, giving historic spaces renewed cultural relevance.
Her curatorial work gained international recognition at maltabiennale.art, where the Polish Pavilion she created and curated received the Best National Pavilion Award. As Founder and Director of Phenomenaa Gallery, Omenaa has also created a platform connecting contemporary African artists with European collectors, institutions and international art markets. She further explores the relationship between art and capital through the Art Investment Masterclass, developed in collaboration with the Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
Omenaa also brings African heritage into contemporary art and design. Through Art Cut Asante , created in collaboration with Sunreef Yachts , she translates the visual language and cultural symbolism of the Asante Kingdom into a contemporary international context. The project reflects her wider mission to connect heritage with modern creativity and introduce African cultural narratives to new global audiences.

Fashion & Identity
Fashion is a language of identity, culture and connection. Rooted in both her European experience and Ghanaian-Asante heritage, Omenaa Mensah uses style to bring African craftsmanship, symbolism and contemporary design into wider European and international contexts.
As the owner of Occhiello, a bespoke tailoring brand, Omenaa combines entrepreneurship with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and individual expression. At the same time, she actively promotes African fashion and designers in Poland, introducing new audiences to contemporary African creativity and helping move the conversation beyond stereotypical representations of the continent.
This approach is also visible within TOP CHARITY , where African cultural narratives increasingly shape the visual identity and storytelling of selected editions. The Warsaw 2026 edition drew on Asante heritage, while the Venice edition developed a narrative around Ethiopian history, royal heritage and cultural legacy. Fashion, textiles, symbolism and styling become part of a broader cultural story rather than decoration alone.

Philanthropy & Education
Philanthropy is most powerful when it builds systems, mobilises private capital and creates lasting social infrastructure.
This approach underpins the Omenaa Foundation, established more than twelve years ago as the cornerstone of social and educational initiatives across Europe and Africa. In Ghana, this commitment has developed into long-term infrastructure for children and local communities, including Kids’ Haven School and the Omenaa Sport & Art Campus, combining education, care, sport, art and community development.
As Vice President of the Rafał Brzoska Foundation, Omenaa co-creates a scholarship ecosystem supporting exceptional young people on their path to leading global universities including Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, MIT and Harvard. She also initiated the Philanthropic Consortium, bringing together organisations and partners including the Obama Foundation, Rafa Nadal Foundation, Andrea Bocelli Foundation, ShoulderUp Foundation and Seed Academy Ghana to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and scale social impact.
Through the OmenaArt Foundation, she extends this impact into the field of culture and heritage, supporting the regeneration of historic architecture and cultural sites and transforming them into active spaces for art, education and community engagement. The aim is not preservation alone, but restoring social and cultural value to places at risk of losing their function, memory or meaning.
At the centre of this ecosystem is TOP CHARITY, created as a platform where private capital, business, art, culture and philanthropy converge. Having raised more than €55 million for social impact, it has evolved beyond a fundraising event into a global brand engine that turns relationships into strategic partnerships and private resources into scalable public good.
Her philanthropic work also extends to rapid-response humanitarian action. Following the invasion of Ukraine, Omenaa helped mobilise one of Poland’s largest private civilian aid operations, delivering more than 8,000 tons of humanitarian assistance and supporting refugee women and children.
